Immediately after passing over the river bridge turn sharp left onto the A493 signposted to Aberdyfi. Drive for 6 ¼ miles passing through the villages of Pennal & Cwrt. As you descend you will see a white walled building on the right hand side. This is Quarry Cottage. Carry on about a 100 yards. On the left hand side of the road you will see a wide opening into a gravelled parking area with a large wooden building with an angled roof, & parked cars, trailers & boats. This is Frongoch Boatyard. Immediately on entering, turn sharp left passing the wooden building on your right hand side. Just past this building on your left there is a pedestrian tunnel entrance under the road with parking places reserved for guests. There is room for 3 to 4 cars to park here. Walk through the tunnel to Smugglers Cove cottages.
